Some family members had challenging dietary requirements and Raspberry Creek made sure that the whole menu was suitable for those people, without compromising on the style, quality and flavours of the food. This was the first time parents of those children had ever been able to eat away from home and relax without having to worry about what their kids could and couldn’t eat. You can imagine how amazing that feels.
It’s now six weeks since our wedding and we, and our guests, are still talking about how fantastic the meal was at the event.
I’ve organised many corporate and private functions for other people, but this was the first time I was doing it for myself and I couldn’t have asked for more. I was blown away by the way we and our guests were treated, the food was absolutely incredible (can someone please tell me what magic was tossed in with those potatoes because they were the BEST I have ever had) and Emile and her team made everything easy.”

This role was highly challenging and encompassed a broad range of skills- from planning and organisation, budget control, managing staff, preparing food for filming and food styling. Brona has fabulous organisationals skills, and a commitment to always deliver the best possible result. She is naturally creative and has an excellent palate.
Brona has also travelled with me as my assistant for my Masterclasses at the Melbourne wine and food festival, and a pop up restaurant planning and organising the food, assisting with preparation and coordinating staff and resources.

“I think the key word I’d like to pass along is simple. Everything was so simple and divine. We didn’t want complicated. We were interested in simple delicious food cooked perfectly. That’s exactly what we got, but so much more. The coordination was fantastic. Sian filled in all the gaps and made sure our every desire was fulfilled. She had an excellent handle on what our needs were and made helpful suggestions throughout the process. On top of that, she was there on the night coordinating everything expertly which made us feel at ease. Sian and her team were everything you could want; they were polite, well presented, there when you needed them and never imposed on the atmosphere. They were able to adapt to changing situations and to handle the exuberant dancing of my cousins with a smile. We had a number of comments from our guests that night and on the days following talking about just how outstanding the food was. One that would sum up the efforts of Raspberry Creek was from an uncle: “it was the best food I have had at any sort of function throughout my life”. “Firstly, may I please start by saying thank you for an absolutely EPIC job Sian, Brona, Hannah and crew did on our catering. It was the best meal I have ever eaten at a wedding…or anywhere else for that matter. The canapes, divine, entree looked and tasted spectacular and the pork belly and fish – I am still getting compliments on how amazing both dishes were! And I think I ate my weight in cake the day after. Throughout the whole experience, Emilie and Brona were so professional and helpful, nothing ever being a problem and it was just so incredibly easy.
